Actions and waits

Define what an automation does and insert Wait steps between actions when timing matters.

Actions

Actions are the work the automation performs after the trigger and conditions pass — for example sending a message, updating lead fields, or other supported agency actions.

  • Prefer templates for outbound messaging actions
  • Make sure the required messaging channel is connected
  • Keep action sequences short and observable

Wait steps

Add a Wait step when you need a delay between actions. Presets cover common intervals (for example 30 minutes through 48 hours).

Next step

Use the Developer API and webhooks when you need tools outside Zyelra’s built-in Automations.
