Enable instant booking (direct booking)
Turn on Instant booking so guests on your website pay to reserve a short-term stay — also called direct booking.
What Instant booking means
Zyelra supports two public booking modes for short-term stays: Request to book (default) and Instant booking. Instant booking lets eligible guests pay on your website. Online payment reserves the unit when the provider confirms it. A bank transfer holds the dates until the host confirms or declines.
How to enable Instant booking
- Step 1In Zyelra
Open Rentals & Bookings settings
Go to Dashboard → Settings → Rentals & Bookings. You need permission to create stays to change booking mode.
- Step 2In Zyelra
Set Public booking mode to Instant booking
In the Booking mode card, choose Instant booking (instead of Request to book), then save. Zyelra asks you to confirm before enabling Instant booking.
- Step 3In Zyelra
Publish short-term units on your website
Instant booking only applies to public short-term stays. Publish the property, keep availability accurate, and ensure short-term units have pricing and stay facts guests need.
- Step 4In Zyelra
Connect guest payments when you collect online
Guests complete payment in a modal. Online payment reserves the stay when the provider succeeds. A bank transfer holds the dates until you confirm or decline it under Bookings.
Agency-wide default
Booking mode is an agency default for your public storefront. It is not a per-property toggle today — when Instant booking is on, eligible published short-term units use that mode.
Switch back to Request to book
Return to Settings → Rentals & Bookings, set Public booking mode to Request to book, and save. Guests will submit requests your team confirms in Bookings instead of paying on the website.
