Journals, statements, and bank accounts

Post and review journals, read statements, and keep bank account records aligned with Zyelra ledger state.

Journals

Journals are explicit accounting entries in Zyelra. Use Finance → Journals when you have journals.view / journals.manage. Posted journals update the ledger.

Statements and bank accounts

  • Statements surfaces summarize posted activity for review periods as implemented in Finance
  • Bank account records in Finance describe destinations / accounts your agency tracks — they are not automatic custodial wallets
  • Bank destinations used for disbursements are related but separate from guest Collect settings

Next

Next step

Ledger, collections, operating balances, AP, disbursements, and QuickBooks.

Zyelra’s ledger and operating balances are the financial source of truth. Payment providers are rails — not a custodial Zyelra wallet.

  • Chart of accounts and ledger

Zyelra’s chart of accounts and ledger are the canonical books of record. Providers and QuickBooks are downstream rails and destinations.

  • Reconciliation

Compare Zyelra ledger state to external accounting objects (especially QuickBooks) without treating the provider as source of truth.

  • QuickBooks integration

Connect QuickBooks as a downstream accounting destination. Zyelra remains the books of record. Production QuickBooks is blocked until verified.
