Pricing and rate plans
How short-term pricing and rate plans work in Zyelra, where to edit them on property/unit hubs, and how they relate to Channex mapping — without hotel multi-plan ARI claims.
What pricing means in Zyelra
Zyelra stores short-term pricing on properties and units. Rate plans are first-class mapping targets for channel sync (especially Channex), even when day-to-day editing happens on property/unit pricing tabs rather than a standalone Pricing calendar route.
- Open a property or unit hub → Pricing tab (short-term units)
- Keep stay facts and availability accurate so public booking and channel ARI have a coherent base
- Map Zyelra rate plans to channel rate plans under Settings → Booking Channels → Mappings
What is canonical
- Zyelra PMS data (property, unit, rate plan identity, rates/availability you maintain) is canonical.
- Channex synchronizes mapped inventory to OTAs — it is not a second PMS of record.
- iCal import creates availability blocks only — it is not rate-plan sync.
Operator workflow
- Step 1In Zyelra
Set pricing on the unit/property
Use the Pricing tab on the short-term property or unit hub. Confirm currency and commercial rules used for storefront booking.
- Step 2In Zyelra
Map the rate plan for channels
In Channex mappings, link the Zyelra rate plan to the channel rate plan ID after the unit is mapped. Some OTA connects require a rate plan mapping before activate/publish.
- Step 3In Zyelra
Verify stays and sync
Create a test stay or confirm channel rates/availability expectations. Use quarantine if bookings arrive without clean mapping.
Limitations
- Channel listing marketing content/photos are often limited or unsupported via Channex.
- Expedia/Vrbo live connectivity remains deferred.
- Do not expect hotel multi-plan restriction calendars in Zyelra VR scope.
