Calendar and iCal troubleshooting

Fix iCal subscription and import issues. Clarifies that transactional two-way booking sync is not supported.

Problem

External calendars do not show Zyelra events, or teammates expect transactional two-way booking sync.

Cause

  • Subscription URL revoked, regenerated, or never added
  • Calendar app refresh delay
  • Expecting transactional two-way booking sync (not supported — import creates availability blocks only)
  • Link shared incorrectly or blocked by a corporate filter

Solution

  • Create or copy a fresh subscription from Calendar → Calendar subscriptions
  • Re-add the URL in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or Outlook
  • Wait for the external app to refresh
  • For inbound availability, use Calendar → External calendars (import)

When to contact support

Contact support if a newly created Zyelra subscription URL fails to load in multiple calendar apps while other public iCal URLs work on the same network.
