QuickBooks troubleshooting
Fix OAuth, mapping, sync, and reconciliation issues — without assuming production QuickBooks is enabled.
Problem
QuickBooks will not connect, journals do not appear in QBO, sync shows errors, or production company expectations fail.
Cause
- Using a production Intuit company while production QuickBooks remains BLOCKED
- Account mappings incomplete
- Expecting Sales Invoice / Customer Payment / Batch API sync (unsupported)
- Expecting QBO edits to overwrite Zyelra
- Missing accounting_integrations.view / manage
Solution
- Prefer sandbox / test environment until production is explicitly enabled for your deployment
- Open Finance → Accounting software; complete Connect and account mapping
- Use pause/resume and retry tools when sync health shows failures
- Compare objects in Finance → Reconciliation; fix Zyelra first
- Do not expect Invoice, Customer Payment, Batch API, or GL writeback from QBO
When to contact support
Contact support or your platform operator when sandbox OAuth succeeds but journal post remains stuck after mappings are complete, or when you have been told production is enabled but the product still blocks it.
