Channel and Channex troubleshooting
Fix mapping gaps, quarantine bookings, sync confusion, and partner-gated or deferred OTA availability.
Start here
- Confirm Settings → Booking Channels is visible (channels permissions).
- Confirm the listing is mapped (Mappings).
- Check Quarantine for stuck imports.
- Confirm you are not expecting iCal to replace OTA reservation sync.
- Confirm the OTA is not deferred (Expedia/Vrbo live paths) or still partner-gated for your environment.
Common symptoms
- No Connect button for Airbnb/Booking.com — expected: direct Connect was removed; use Channex-managed flows.
- Reservation missing — check mapping, quarantine, and whether live guest traffic exists on the mapped listing (Airbnb reservation traffic may still need verification).
- Wrong unit — remapping required; do not invent a second mapping system outside Zyelra.
- Messaging/reviews missing — may be unsupported for that channel in Channex’s capability catalog (for example Vrbo messaging/reviews often unsupported).
- Calendar looks wrong — separate Zyelra stays, Channex ARI, and iCal import blocks.
