Google Workspace / Gmail
Connect a Google account with Gmail send access so Zyelra can send email via OAuth — send only, not mailbox sync.
AvailableSupported today.What this connection does
Google Workspace / Gmail connects via OAuth so Zyelra can send mail as the authorized Google account. It does not sync your Gmail inbox into Zyelra.
- Outbound send only (Gmail API send scope).
- No inbound / two-way mailbox sync.
- Disconnect and reconnect anytime to refresh consent.
Before you start
- A Google account that can send from the address you intend to use (Workspace user or Gmail).
- Admin policies that allow third-party OAuth for Gmail if your organization restricts apps.
- Permission to manage Settings → Messaging & Delivery in Zyelra.
Connect Google Workspace
- Step 1In provider
Confirm the Google account can send mail
Sign in to the Google account (or Workspace user) that should appear as the sender. If Workspace admins block unverified apps, ask an admin to allow Zyelra’s OAuth client before connecting.
- Step 2In Zyelra
Start Connect Google Workspace
Go to Settings → Messaging & Delivery → Email and choose Connect Google Workspace.
- Step 3In provider
Complete Google OAuth consent
In Google’s consent screen, sign in and grant the requested Gmail send permission (gmail.send). Decline or missing scopes will prevent sending.
- Step 4In Zyelra
Confirm connection and test send
After redirect back to Zyelra, confirm Google Workspace shows connected, then send a test email.
Verify
- Google Workspace status is connected in Settings → Messaging & Delivery → Email.
- Test send succeeds from the authorized account.
- Inbound still shows as unavailable — that is expected.
Troubleshooting
- Consent denied — reconnect and accept send permission.
- Workspace admin blocked the app — request admin approval, then reconnect.
- Token expired or revoked — Disconnect Google Workspace, then Connect again.
- Expecting inbox sync — not supported; use Messaging for Zyelra-originated threads only.
