Stripe (guest payments)
Prefer Finance → Collection payments and guest payment links (Zyelra-managed). Connect Stripe via Stripe Connect OAuth in Settings → Payments → Advanced only for legacy stay checkout. Separate from Zyelra SaaS billing.
Available with provider requirementsSupported, but an external account or verification is required. What this connection does
Stripe guest payments use Stripe Connect so customer checkout for stays settles to your connected Stripe account. This is not Zyelra subscription billing.
Before you start
- A Stripe account that can accept Connect onboarding for your country.
- Permission to manage Settings → Payments.
- Clarity on test vs live mode expectations for your environment.
Connect Stripe
- Step 1In provider
Prepare your Stripe account
Sign in at Stripe Dashboard, complete business verification as required, and decide whether you are connecting for test or live charges.
- Step 2In Zyelra
Open Settings → Payments
Go to Settings → Payments → Stripe and choose Connect Stripe account.
- Step 3In provider
Complete Stripe Connect OAuth
Authorize Zyelra in Stripe’s Connect onboarding/OAuth screens. Do not paste fabricated sk_ or whsec_ secrets into Zyelra — Connect provides the linkage.
- Step 4In provider
Webhook endpoint (platform)
Payment lifecycle events POST to {your Zyelra API base URL}/api/v1/webhooks/payments/stripe. Signing secrets are configured by Zyelra platform ops — agencies should not invent webhook secrets.
- Step 5In Zyelra
Test a guest payment
Create a test stay payment / checkout in the appropriate mode and confirm settlement and receipt behavior.
POST {your Zyelra API base URL}/api/v1/webhooks/payments/stripeVerify
- Stripe shows connected in Settings → Payments.
- Guest checkout opens Stripe Checkout / Elements as designed.
- Payment status updates after webhook processing.
Troubleshooting
- OAuth cancelled — restart Connect Stripe account.
- Test vs live mismatch — confirm you completed Connect for the intended mode.
- Charges fail — finish Stripe verification / capability requirements in Stripe Dashboard.
- Confused with Billing — SaaS invoices are under Settings → Billing, not Payments.
