PayPal (guest payments)

Connect PayPal Business via PayPal Connect OAuth in Settings → Payments for guest checkout. Separate from Zyelra SaaS billing.

Available with provider requirementsSupported, but an external account or verification is required.

What this connection does

PayPal guest payments connect your PayPal Business merchant account through OAuth so guests can pay stays via PayPal checkout.

Step 1In provider
Prepare PayPal Business
Sign in to PayPal Business and complete any required business verification before connecting a partner app.
Step 2In Zyelra
Open Settings → Payments → PayPal
Go to Settings → Payments and choose Connect PayPal account.
Step 3In provider
Complete PayPal Connect OAuth
Authorize Zyelra on PayPal’s consent screens. Do not paste fabricated client secrets into the agency UI — OAuth establishes the merchant link.
Step 4In provider
Webhook (platform)
PayPal payment events POST to {your Zyelra API base URL}/api/v1/webhooks/payments/paypal. Zyelra verifies PayPal payment notifications.
Step 5In Zyelra
Test guest checkout
Run a test payment and confirm status updates in the stay / payment UI.

OAuth failed — restart Connect PayPal; confirm you used a Business account.
Needs attention — reconnect from Settings → Payments.
Confused with Billing — SaaS subscription settings live under Settings → Billing.
