Termii SMS

Connect a Termii API key, regional base URL, and approved sender ID for SMS — common for Nigeria and other Termii-supported regions.

Available with provider requirementsSupported, but an external account or verification is required.

What this connection does

Termii SMS connects Zyelra to Termii for outbound SMS using your Termii API key, regional API base URL, and approved sender IDs.

Before you start

  • A Termii account with SMS balance and an approved sender ID for your use case.
  • The correct regional API base URL for your Termii account (Nigeria commonly uses the NG API host).
  • Permission to manage Settings → Messaging & Delivery → SMS.

Connect Termii

  1. Step 1In provider

    Create a Termii account

Register at Termii, complete business verification if required for your sender type, and fund SMS credits.

  2. Step 2In provider

    Generate an API key

In the Termii dashboard, open API / developer settings and generate an API key. Copy it once and store it securely.

  3. Step 3In provider

Note base URL and sender IDs

Copy the API base URL for your region (for example the Nigeria API host documented by Termii) and the exact approved sender ID string(s).

  4. Step 4In Zyelra

    Connect Termii in Zyelra

Go to Settings → Messaging & Delivery → SMS → Termii. Enter API key, base URL, and sender ID. Save.

  5. Step 5In provider

Configure DLR webhook if Termii asks for a URL

Use POST {your Zyelra API base URL}/api/v1/webhooks/communications/termii. Remember: Zyelra does not HMAC-verify Termii DLR payloads.

  6. Step 6In Zyelra

    Send a test SMS

Send a test to a local number you control. Confirm delivery and status updates.

POST {your Zyelra API base URL}/api/v1/webhooks/communications/termii

Regional considerations (NG)

  • Use the Termii base URL that matches your account region — do not mix regional hosts.
  • Sender IDs often require Termii approval before production traffic.
  • Local number formatting and DND / regulatory rules apply; follow Termii’s Nigeria guidance for transactional vs promotional traffic.

Verify

  1. Termii shows connected in Settings → Messaging & Delivery → SMS.
  2. Test SMS delivers with the approved sender ID.
  3. Delivery reports appear when Termii posts DLRs to the webhook URL.

Troubleshooting

  • Invalid API key — regenerate in Termii and update Zyelra.
  • Sender ID rejected — wait for Termii approval or use an already-approved ID.
  • Wrong base URL — switch to the regional host Termii documents for your account.
  • Missing DLR — confirm Termii is posting to the Zyelra termii webhook path.
